Plenty of ensembles have their hall, their players and their date. What is missing is the equipment and someone to run the session.
We take on that part on its own: microphones, recording, supervision from the score, editing, mixing and mastering. The same for video, including the grade and an export at whatever resolution you need.
What is covered
Recording
Main pair and spots chosen for the hall and the forces, up to six microphones in the standard rig. Audio at CD and broadcast quality, video in 4K.
Editing
Assembling takes against the score, adjusting transitions, fine editing. Video editing and shot sequence as agreed.
Mixing and mastering
Balance, room, tonal image, final level. Delivery at whatever resolution a release, a broadcaster, a submission or a platform requires.
Existing material
We also work on things left half done: concert tapes that were never finished, sessions never edited, material from several dates that needs bringing together. Send an audio sample and, if you can, the score. We listen through and tell you whether the work is worth doing.
We have done this for a number of projects. References are given on request, provided the clients agree.
