Über die Veranstaltung

Since it was founded in 1991, the trio has played in major concert halls in Europe and Asia, such as the Sala Verdi in Milan, the Wigmore Hall in London, the Concert Hall of the Royal Dublin Society, the Concertgebouw Rotterdam, and the Palais du Luxembourg in Paris , in the Musee Royaux des Beaux Arts de Belgique in Brussels, in the Auditorio Centro Cultural Conde Duque in Madrid, the Auditorio Winterthur Barcelona, the Beijing Concert Hall, the Shanghai Concert Hall, in the Wiener Konzerthaus and others

The ensemble has participated in countless music festivals, such as: Madeira Festival, Festival do Estoril, Festival Albacete, Festival nel Parco (Rome), Festival Iglesias, Estate Musicale di Alghero, Sibenik Festival, Lusatian Music Summer, Langenargen Summer Concerts, Corveyer Music Weeks, Music Summer Obermain , Vendsyssel Festival, Klangbogen Wien, Kilkenny Festival, Festival of Chamber Music at the RDS (Dublin), Jakarta Festival, Thailand Festival, Maggio della Musica di Napoli, Settimane Musicali di Grado, Schubertíada Barcelona, King's Lynn Festival, Festival de Musique en Bourbonnais , Les Musicales du Golfe, North Wales Music Festival and others

Today the Vienna Mozart Trio belongs to the small group of ensembles that are known in almost all major music centers.

Irina, Daniel and Diethard Auner are not bound by contracts with orchestras. This artistic independence enables a musically free and unconventional interpretation with the greatest possible intensity.

The musicians see their calling in conveying music as a spontaneous and original experience. In doing so, they give a broad audience an insight into all stylistic epochs and musical expressions, starting with the Viennese Classic - with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as one of the first composers for the musical formation of the piano trio - up to the present day.

The Vienna Mozart Trio has been organizing and directing its own international music festival in Hunyadi Castle on the southern Vienna city limits since 2012, which annually hosts important musicians and ensembles: the Vienna Woods Summer Concerts.
